Each plant is unique. Size, shape, fullness, and variegation will vary.

Epipremnum aureum ‘Ivory Night’, commonly called Ivory Night Pothos, is a trailing tropical vine grown for its soft cream and green variegation. Native to Southeast Asia in its species form, this cultivar is valued for its subtle, muted coloring rather than bold contrast. What makes this plant special is the creamy ivory tones blended into mid to deep green leaves, giving it a softer, more refined look compared to high-contrast pothos varieties. The leaves are heart-shaped, smooth, and slightly waxy, growing along flexible trailing stems.

Light requirements
Place Ivory Night Pothos in an east or west window for the best balance of growth and variegation, positioned at the window or within 1 to 3 feet depending on intensity. A south window can work if pulled back to avoid harsh direct exposure, while a north window will slow growth and reduce variegation. Under grow lights, use 5000K to 6500K and keep the light 10 to 14 inches above the canopy. It performs best around 150 to 400 foot-candles. Consistent light helps maintain its creamy tones.

Watering & environment
Allow the soil to dry about halfway down before watering, and always check the root zone with a chopstick or meter. This plant is forgiving but does not tolerate staying overly wet. Use a well-draining mix and provide steady airflow. It adapts well to average indoor humidity.

What your plant is telling you
If leaves begin to droop or feel thinner, it is ready for water. If leaves yellow or stems become soft, the soil is staying too wet. If variegation fades or growth becomes leggy, it needs more consistent light.
