The Peperomia 'Red Ripple' is a compact, eye-catching plant prized for its deeply textured, burgundy-red leaves that shimmer with metallic undertones. A member of the Peperomia caperata family, this variety stays small and tidy, making it a perfect addition to desks, shelves, or windowsills. Its ripple-like leaf pattern adds bold contrast and visual texture to any plant collection.

This Peperomia prefers to dry out slightly between waterings. Use a well-draining potting mix—something rich in perlite or coco coir—to avoid soggy roots. It’s a relatively low-maintenance plant that doesn’t require high humidity, making it a great choice for beginners or anyone with a busy routine. Be careful not to overwater, as Peperomias store moisture in their stems and leaves.

For best results, place your Peperomia 'Red Ripple' in bright, indirect light. It does well near east- or north-facing windows, or a few feet back from a south- or west-facing window with filtered light. Too much direct sun can scorch its leaves, while too little light may fade its deep red color. With the right spot, it will maintain its vibrant tones and compact growth.
