This is a Maidenhair Fern, most likely Adiantum raddianum, known for its soft, bright green, fan-shaped leaflets on thin dark stems. Native to tropical regions, it grows in consistently moist, shaded environments with high humidity. What makes this plant stand out is its airy, delicate texture it almost looks lightweight and flowing, but that same softness is what makes it more sensitive than most houseplants.

Place this plant in a north or east-facing window about 0–2 feet from the glass, or a west-facing window 4–6 feet back. It needs gentle, consistent light and will burn quickly in direct sun. Under grow lights, use 5000K–6500K positioned 12–18 inches above the plant. If it starts thinning out or stretching, it needs more light. If it crisps or fades, the light is too strong.

Water using a chopstick or meter and do not let the soil fully dry out this plant needs consistent moisture at all times. It prefers higher humidity and stable conditions. Crispy edges or leaf drop mean it dried out or humidity dropped too low, even briefly. Yellowing or collapse points to overwatering or poor airflow. This is a plant you stay ahead of once it dries out too far, it declines fast.
