Aglaonema Peacock is native to the tropical forest floors of Southeast Asia where it grows in warm humid environments with filtered light and loose organic soil. This origin explains why it tolerates indoor conditions well and prefers stable temperatures without cold drafts. It is known for being resilient while still responding positively to consistent care.

This plant does best in bright indirect light but can tolerate lower light compared to many houseplants. An east or north facing window works well and a south or west window should be set back to avoid direct sun. Too much direct light can wash out the leaf pattern while very low light will slow growth. Rotate the plant occasionally to keep growth even.

Water only when the soil has partially dried. Use a wooden chopstick or water meter inserted deep into the pot and water when the lower portion is mostly dry. Always allow excess water to drain fully to prevent root issues. Keep the leaves clean so the plant can photosynthesize efficiently and maintain consistent light and watering habits to keep Aglaonema Peacock healthy and thriving long term.
