Each plant is unique. Size, shape, fullness, and variegation will vary.

Aglaonema ‘Peacock’, a cultivated Chinese evergreen from Southeast Asian lineage, is known for its elongated leaves layered with soft pink centers, cream undertones, and deep green feathering along the veins. What makes this plant special is its painted, multi-tone look where colors blend in a gradient rather than bold patches, giving it a more refined, almost watercolor appearance compared to brighter aglaonemas.

Light supports both color layering and compact growth. Place it in an east or north-facing window where it gets steady, gentle light without direct sun hitting the leaves. Under grow lights, use 5000K–6500K placed 10–14 inches from the top of the plant. Too much direct sun can wash out or burn the softer pink and cream tones, while too little light will cause the plant to lean more green and lose contrast.

Watering should stay moderate and consistent. Allow the soil to partially dry out between waterings, then water thoroughly and let it drain. Use a mix of succulent soil, perlite, and orchid bark to keep it airy while holding some moisture. If new leaves are coming in with less pink and more green, it is not getting enough light. If the plant begins to stretch or open up, it is reaching for more light. Yellowing leaves with soft stems point to excess moisture at the roots rather than underwatering.
