In the wild it receives warm temperatures, high humidity, and soft filtered light. Indoors you want to recreate that gentle, bright environment so the foliage stays full and the fenestrations continue to develop.

Place it in bright indirect light. East and north windows or pulled-back south and west exposure. Direct sun burns thin leaves quickly, especially the younger ones. Low light causes stretching, small leaves, and fewer holes. Give it strong ambient brightness for most of the day to keep each vine compact and healthy.

Water when the top one to two inches of soil dry. Use a well draining mix so the roots stay oxygenated. This plant enjoys consistent moisture but dislikes sitting in water. Higher humidity keeps the leaves crisp and reduces browning. Provide a pole or support if you want larger, more mature fenestrated leaves.
