Rooted Plant Shop Consultation — $65

This one-on-one consultation with Melanie gives us more time to work through individual plant concerns, compare what is happening across several plants, or look more closely at how lighting, watering, potting, pests, grow lights, and your growing environment may be affecting your plants.

The consultation is limited to 3-4 individual plants maximum. The 3-4 plant limit applies regardless of whether several plants are experiencing the same issue. For example, five plants with the same pest concern are still five individual plants.

Your consultation includes preparation time before we meet. I will review the information and photos you submit ahead of your appointment so I can become familiar with your plants, their normal growing environment, and the concerns you would like to address. This review is included in the consultation price and allows our 30 minutes together to be spent actually discussing your plants rather than collecting all of that information during the appointment.

After purchasing, you will receive instructions for scheduling your appointment and submitting the required consultation information and photos. Your information must be submitted by the stated deadline before your appointment. If it is not received in time for me to properly review it, your consultation will need to be rescheduled.

You may choose a phone or video consultation. Video is not required. If seeing your plants or growing setup together would be useful, video may be helpful, but the format is completely your choice.

Your scheduled consultation is 30 minutes and is limited to 4 individual plants. The appointment ends at the end of the 30 minutes, even if we have not discussed every plant, question, or concern you hoped to cover. Purchasing a consultation reserves that specific amount of my time rather than guaranteeing that a particular number of concerns can be completely worked through during the appointment.

I want to give each plant and question we discuss the attention it deserves rather than rushing through additional plants simply to fit them into the appointment. If we reach the end of your reserved time or the five-plant limit and there is more you would like to discuss, you are always welcome to schedule another consultation.

This consultation is intended to provide education, observations, and practical direction based on the information available during our appointment. Plant responses can vary with environment and care, so a consultation cannot guarantee a particular plant outcome.
