Sometimes you don’t need more general plant information. You need help understanding how that information applies to your specific plant, your home, and your growing environment. This one-on-one consultation with Melanie is designed for one focused plant-care concern involving no more than two individual plants.

We can use your consultation to discuss watering, lighting and placement, roots and repotting, pests, environmental concerns, grow-light setups, or another specific plant-care question. The two-plant limit applies regardless of whether both plants are experiencing the same concern.

Your consultation includes more than the 15 minutes we spend together. Before your appointment, I will review the information and photos you submit so I can come into our conversation familiar with your plants, your setup, and the concern you want to discuss. This preparation is included in the consultation price and allows us to use your appointment time for the conversation rather than spending the beginning of it gathering basic information.

After purchasing, you will receive instructions for scheduling your appointment and submitting the required consultation information and photos. Your information must be submitted by the stated deadline before your appointment. If it is not received in time for me to properly review it, your consultation will need to be rescheduled.

You may choose a phone or video consultation. Video is not required. If seeing the plant or growing environment together would be useful, video may be helpful, but you are welcome to choose whichever format you are most comfortable with.

Your scheduled consultation is 15 minutes and is limited to 2 individual plants. The appointment ends at the end of the 15 minutes, even if we have not discussed every question or concern you may have. This allows me to give each scheduled customer my full attention while respecting the appointments and responsibilities scheduled around yours.

Please choose the consultation length that realistically fits what you would like to discuss. If we reach the end of your reserved time or the two-plant limit and you would like help with additional plants, questions, or concerns, you are always welcome to schedule another consultation.

This consultation is intended to provide education, observations, and practical direction based on the information available during our appointment. Plant responses can vary with environment and care, so a consultation cannot guarantee a particular plant outcome.
