Pinguicula ‘Weser’.
A hybrid (likely moranensis × ehlersiae) bred for color, vigor, and indoor adaptability.
One of the most popular hybrids due to its strong red/pink coloration under high light and consistent flowering. Fast-growing and forgiving compared to species.
Leaves form a symmetrical rosette with smooth, slightly elongated pads that blush pink to red under higher light.

Light requirements.
Prefers east and south windows.
Place directly at the window or within 1–2 ft.
Under grow lights use 5000K–6500K.
Distance from canopy.
8–12 inches for strong color and compact growth.
10–14 inches for steady growth.
Foot-candles: 1,000–2,500 for color expression and growth. Below 800 fc reduces red coloration and slows growth.

Watering & environment.
Keep lightly moist during carnivorous phase.
Allow slight dry-down between waterings in succulent phase.
Always check the root zone.
Performs well in mineral substrate with moderate humidity and good airflow. Tolerates indoor conditions well above 60°F.

What your plant is telling you.
Needs water: dew production drops, leaves lose slight firmness.
Too wet: base softens, leaves become pale and lose structure.
Light issues: lack of red coloration and flatter growth indicates low light. Intense bleaching or crisping indicates too much direct exposure.
