Each plant is unique. Size, shape, fullness, and variegation will vary.

Nepenthes ‘Miranda’ (Miranda Pitcher Plant)
A vigorous hybrid known for producing large, dramatic pitchers and strong vertical growth
Popular for its size, durability, and ability to produce impressive traps indoors under the right conditions
Leaves are long and arching with thick tendrils producing large green pitchers with red speckling and flared lips

Light requirements
Prefers south and west windows
Place directly at the window or within 1–2 ft
Under grow lights use 5000K–6500K
Distance from canopy:
8–12 inches for larger pitcher development
Foot-candles: 1,500–3,000 for size and color

Watering & environment
Keep media lightly moist with distilled, rain, or RO water
Check root zone for consistent dampness without saturation
Performs well in 50–70% humidity with strong airflow
Temperature range: 65–85°F, no night drop needed

What your plant is telling you
Needs water: pitchers dry, growth slows, tendrils fail
Too wet: root decline in compact media, yellowing leaves
Light issues: smaller pitchers and lack of color indicate low light. Burnt edges if too intense without acclimation

Beautiful

I love the smaller plant sizes because I love watching them grow. The key to that is a strong root system and Mel definitely came through with a great plant with a good root system!

Beautiful and Healthy Philo Micans:
This is my second order from the rooted plant shop. My first order came quickly, packaged well and that plant has never given me any issues. That is why I ordered again and this experience was no different. I check her website often to see if she has any of my wishlist plants because if I can get them from her shop i know I’m getting a healthy plant and I fuss free experience.
