Hoya carnosa ‘Krimson Queen’ (Tricolor Hoya, Exotica).
Native to Southeast Asia and parts of Eastern Australia, where Hoyas climb and trail through trees in warm, humid environments with strong airflow and bright, filtered light. They root into bark and debris, drying quickly between rain. This cultivar is valued for its stable tricolor variegation and durability. Leaves are thick, waxy, and oval with green centers and cream to pink margins, with new growth emerging bright pink before hardening off.

Light requirements.
Prefers east and south windows.
Place 1–2 ft from the window.
Grow lights 5000K–6500K.
10–14 inches from canopy.
Foot-candles: 800–1,500 for variegation and compact growth. Higher light increases pink tones.

Watering & environment.
Allow soil to fully dry out between watering.
Use a chopstick or moisture meter to confirm the root zone is dry before watering again.
Prefers moderate humidity with strong airflow and warm temperatures.
