Each plant is unique. Size, shape, fullness, and variegation will vary.

Epipremnum amplissimum ‘Albo’, native to Southeast Asia, is a climbing aroid known for its long, narrow leaves marked with creamy white variegation across a bright green surface. What makes this plant special is its elegant, strap-like foliage paired with clean white marbling and streaking that becomes more dramatic as the plant matures and climbs.

Light drives both variegation and leaf size. Place it in an east or south-facing window where it gets bright, consistent light without direct sun sitting on the leaves. Under grow lights, use 5000K–6500K placed 8–12 inches from the top of the plant. In lower light, the white variegation fades and the leaves stay smaller and less elongated. Strong, even light keeps the pattern brighter and encourages larger, more mature foliage.

Watering should stay balanced with strong airflow at the roots. Allow the soil to partially dry out between waterings, then water thoroughly and let it drain, using a mix of succulent soil, perlite, and orchid bark. This plant shows changes through new growth—if leaves lose variegation or size down, it’s reacting to light, not water. Browning in white sections can come from inconsistent moisture or excessive light intensity. If the base softens while the soil is wet, the roots are staying too saturated rather than needing more water.
