Prefers south and west windows
Place directly at the window or within 1–2 ft. Can sit 3–5 ft back only if the light is unobstructed and strong
Under grow lights use 5000K–6500K
Distance from canopy:
8–12 inches for strong, fast growth
10–14 inches for moderate growth
Foot-candles: 3,000–6,000+ for active growth and larger leaf development. Below 2,000 fc growth slows and leaves reduce in size

Watering & environment
Keep soil consistently lightly moist. Do not allow it to fully dry out
Always check the root zone. The center should remain slightly damp between waterings
Requires higher humidity (50–70%+), strong airflow, and warm temperatures above 65°F. Sensitive to cold and will stall quickly in cooler conditions

Too wet: yellowing lower leaves, soft base, soil remains dense and heavy without drying
