Each plant is unique. Size, shape, fullness, and variegation will vary.

Aglaonema ‘Manila Pride’, a cultivated Chinese evergreen with origins tied to Southeast Asia, is a compact foliage plant known for its broad, oval leaves with soft green tones layered with lighter, almost silvery patterning. What makes this plant special is its refined, subtle contrast and ability to stay full and structured without needing high light, making it one of the more forgiving but still visually polished aglaonemas.

Light should be moderate and steady to maintain its pattern and shape. Place it in an east or north-facing window where it gets gentle, consistent light without direct sun hitting the leaves. Under grow lights, use 5000K–6500K placed 10–14 inches from the top of the plant. Too much direct sun can wash out the pattern and stress the leaves, while too little light will slow growth and reduce definition.

Watering should stay balanced and consistent. Allow the soil to partially dry out between waterings, then water thoroughly and let it drain. Use a mix of succulent soil, perlite, and orchid bark to keep it airy while holding some moisture. If new leaves are coming in smaller or with less pattern, it is not getting enough light. If the plant begins to lean or open up, it is reaching for more light. Yellowing leaves with soft stems point to excess moisture at the roots rather than underwatering.
