Each plant is unique. Size, shape, fullness, and variegation will vary.

Philodendron ‘Orange Marmalade’ is a vibrant, variegated philodendron known for its mottled mix of orange, yellow, and green across broad, slightly elongated leaves. The coloration shifts as the leaf matures, starting brighter and settling into a marbled blend that gives the plant a warm, glowing look. It grows upright and full, with each leaf showing a different pattern, making it a standout in any collection.

Light supports both color expression and steady growth. Place it in an east-facing window or a few feet back from a south or west-facing window where it gets bright, consistent light without direct sun hitting the leaves. Under grow lights, use 5000K–6500K at 600–1000 foot-candles. Too little light will cause the variegation to dull and lean more green, while too much direct sun can burn the lighter, more colorful sections.

Watering should stay balanced and consistent. Allow the soil to partially dry out between waterings, then water thoroughly and let it drain. Use a mix of succulent soil, perlite, and orchid bark to keep it airy. If new leaves are coming in with less orange and more green, that points to not enough light. If the plant starts producing smaller leaves with less defined color variation, it’s also reacting to lower light levels. Browning on the lighter areas is typically from light or moisture stress rather than a disease.
