Each plant is unique. Size, shape, fullness, and variegation will vary.

Peperomia ‘Hope’, a hybrid peperomia with lineage from South American species, is a trailing plant known for its small, round, succulent-like leaves that grow in clusters along soft vines. What makes this plant special is its stacked, coin-shaped foliage combined with a compact trailing habit, giving it a clean, cascading look while staying controlled and easy to manage.

Light drives how tight and full the vines stay. Place it in an east or south-facing window where it gets bright, consistent light without direct sun sitting on the leaves. Under grow lights, use 5000K–6500K placed 8–12 inches from the top of the plant. In lower light, the vines will stretch with more space between leaf clusters and lose that stacked look. Strong light keeps the leaves closer together and the plant more compact.

Watering should be light and controlled. Allow the soil to dry out most of the way between waterings, then water thoroughly and let it drain, using a mix of succulent soil, perlite, and orchid bark. The leaves act as water storage, so they will soften slightly when the plant is ready for water. If the leaves stay firm but start dropping, that usually points to inconsistent watering swings. Soft stems or yellowing with wet soil indicate the roots are staying too wet rather than needing more water.
