The direction of light is especially important for Monstera Peru. This plant thrives in bright, indirect light—an east-facing window provides gentle morning sun, while a south-facing window with some distance or a sheer curtain offers consistent brightness without damage. If grown in a north-facing window, the Peru may grow more slowly and its leaves may lose some of their intensity, while harsh afternoon light from a west-facing window can scorch and dull its foliage.
