Each plant is unique. Size, shape, fullness, and variegation will vary.

Epipremnum aureum ‘Manjula’, a cultivated pothos variety originating from tropical Asia, is known for its broad, wavy leaves with marbled variegation in cream, white, light green, and deep green. The leaves have a softer, more irregular shape compared to other pothos, giving it a fuller, more textured look. It grows as a trailing or climbing plant, staying relatively compact while producing highly variable, one-of-a-kind leaves.

Light helps maintain the variegation and compact growth. Place it in an east or south-facing window where it gets bright, consistent light without direct sun sitting on the leaves. Under grow lights, use 5000K–6500K placed 10–14 inches from the top of the plant. Too little light will cause the variegation to fade and lean more green, while too much direct sun can burn the lighter sections.

Watering should stay moderate and consistent. Allow the soil to partially dry out between waterings, then water thoroughly and let it drain. Use a mix of succulent soil, perlite, and orchid bark to keep it airy. If new leaves are coming in mostly green with less cream or white, it is not getting enough light. If the plant starts spacing out with longer gaps between leaves, it is reaching for more light. Smaller leaves with less pattern also point to lower light rather than watering issues.
