Baltic Blue Pothos (Epipremnum pinnatum ‘Baltic Blue’) is a popular and easy-care houseplant known for its deep blue-green leaves that develop natural fenestrations (splits) as they mature. Native to Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands, this cultivar thrives in tropical environments where it climbs trees and grows under the forest canopy. Its unique coloring and split-leaf appearance make it a standout among pothos varieties.

To care for Baltic Blue Pothos, provide easy, south, or west lighting —although it can tolerate lower light, brighter conditions help develop those signature splits. Water when soil is dry, make sure the pot has good drainage to avoid root rot. It prefers average room humidity and temperatures between 65–85°F. Use a well-draining soil mix, and feed monthly during the growing season with a balanced, diluted fertilizer to encourage lush growth.

To keep your Baltic Blue Pothos looking full and healthy, prune regularly to promote bushier growth and prevent legginess. Rotate the plant every few weeks to ensure even light exposure, and consider training it up a moss pole or trellis for larger, more fenestrated leaves. Like most pothos, it's low-maintenance, but consistent care—especially with light and watering—will help it thrive and show off its best foliage.
