Proper watering is essential to keep these plants healthy. The soil should be kept evenly moist, but not soggy, to avoid root rot. Water the plant thoroughly when the top 1–2 inches of the soil feel dry, but ensure the pot has good drainage. Additionally, high humidity is crucial for these plants, as they are native to tropical climates.
