The Cereus Peruvianus, also called the Peruvian Apple Cactus, is a striking, columnar cactus known for its tall, tree-like growth and minimalistic architectural presence. It can reach impressive heights of 10 to 30 feet outdoors in suitable climates but grows more slowly indoors. Its ribbed, green stems are thick and succulent, allowing it to store water for long periods, making it highly drought-tolerant. In addition to its sculptural form, it produces large, fragrant white flowers that bloom at night, sometimes followed by edible fruits, giving it both aesthetic and functional appeal.

When it comes to care, light and water are key factors for thriving. Cereus Peruvianus prefers bright, indirect sunlightto full sun and can tolerate some direct sunlight if acclimated gradually.
