Pothos ‘N’Joy is a charming variety of Epipremnum aureum known for its compact growth habit and crisp, white-and-green variegated leaves. Its smaller, tidy foliage makes it an excellent choice for desktops, shelves, or hanging planters, and it’s one of the easier pothos varieties to keep looking full and healthy. Like other pothos, it’s adaptable and forgiving, but its variegation means it needs slightly more light than solid-green varieties to maintain its bright patterns.

The ‘N’Joy’ thrives in bright, indirect light, such as near an east-facing window or a north-facing window that gets consistent daylight. It can tolerate medium light, but the white variegation may fade to green if the plant doesn’t receive enough brightness. If placed in a south or west window, keep it at least 3–5 feet away or use a sheer curtain to soften the light. Avoid prolonged direct sun, which can scorch the leaves, especially the lighter areas.

Water when the soil is dry, allowing excess water to drain completely. Use a well-draining potting mix, and ensure the pot has drainage holes to prevent root rot. Fertilize monthly during spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertilizer at half strength. The ‘N’Joy’ enjoys average household humidity but will benefit from occasional misting or a nearby humidifier. Prune the vines to maintain a bushy shape, and propagate cuttings in water or soil to create new plants or fill in any bare spots.
