Philodendron ‘Paraiso Verde’ is a climbing philodendron prized for its long, narrow leaves covered in irregular shades of green, ranging from deep forest green to lime and mint. What makes this plant special is its green-on-green variegation, which creates a mottled, almost camouflage-like pattern across the foliage. As the plant matures and climbs, the leaves become significantly longer and broader, making the variegation even more dramatic.
Light and warmth both play an important role in how Paraiso Verde grows and displays its coloration. Place it in an east or south-facing window where it receives bright, consistent light without prolonged harsh sun hitting the foliage. Under grow lights, use 5000K–6500K placed 8–12 inches from the top of the plant. Give it a moss pole, plank, or sturdy support to climb. Strong light, warm temperatures, and vertical support encourage larger leaves, tighter internodes, and stronger mature growth.
Allow the soil to partially dry between waterings, then water thoroughly and let the excess drain away. Use a well-aerated mix of 1/3 succulent soil, 1/3 coarse orchid bark, and 1/3 grade 3–4 perlite. Check deeper into the root zone with a chopstick or water meter rather than judging moisture from the surface. Keep it warm with moderate humidity and consistent airflow around both the foliage and root zone.
Watch the newest growth for the clearest signals. Larger successive leaves, shorter internodes, and strong mottled coloration indicate favorable growing conditions. Paraiso Verde’s variegation can change considerably from leaf to leaf, and temperature can influence how strongly the pattern is expressed, so greener growth does not automatically mean the plant needs more light. Long internodes and progressively smaller leaves point toward insufficient light or lack of climbing support. Drooping with a dry root zone signals that it is ready for water, while yellowing leaves or soft stems with consistently wet soil point to excess moisture.

from 904 reviewsIt was very packaged and plants looked great upon arrival.
I dont know if this is about the actual shipping protection for my plants when they were sent in the mail. I was happy with it, I probably didnt need it because the weather was mild, but better to have it and not need it.
