Each plant is unique. Size, shape, fullness, and variegation will vary.

Peperomia Spoonleaf, commonly known as Baby Rubber Plant, is native to Central and South America and is grown for its thick, glossy, spoon-shaped leaves that store water. The leaves can be solid green or variegated, and the plant stays compact with a slightly upright growth habit. What makes it desirable is its clean, structured look and durability it gives a polished feel without being high maintenance.

Place this plant in an east or west-facing window about 1–3 feet from the glass, or a south-facing window 3–5 feet back. It prefers moderate, steady light to stay compact and full. Under grow lights, use 5000K–6500K positioned 10–14 inches above the plant. If it starts to stretch or space out, it needs more light. If leaves fade or show stress, the light may be too intense.

Water using a chopstick or meter and let the soil dry more than halfway before watering again. The thick leaves store water, so it does not tolerate staying wet. Overwatering leads to soft stems and potential rot, while underwatering shows up as slightly dull or thinner-feeling leaves. It prefers consistency and does best when you avoid frequent changes in environment.
