Each plant is unique. Size, shape, fullness, and variegation will vary.

Monstera deliciosa ‘Thai Constellation’, commonly called Thai con, is a variegated monstera native to Central America through its species, known for its creamy, speckled variegation scattered across large, glossy leaves. What makes this plant special is its stable, marbled pattern—unlike sectoral variegation, it shows consistent speckling and streaking that looks like stars across the leaf, paired with large, fenestrated growth as it matures.

Light drives both variegation clarity and leaf size. Place it in an east or south-facing window where it gets bright, consistent light without direct sun sitting on the leaves. Under grow lights, use 5000K–6500K placed 8–12 inches from the top of the plant. In lower light, growth slows and leaves come in smaller with less defined variegation. Strong, even light supports larger leaves and more pronounced fenestration while maintaining the creamy pattern.

Watering should stay balanced with strong airflow at the roots. Allow the soil to partially dry out between waterings, then water thoroughly and let it drain, using a mix of succulent soil, perlite, and orchid bark. This plant shows changes through new growth—if leaves size down or lose fenestration, it’s reacting to light or support, not water. Browning on lighter variegated sections can come from light intensity or inconsistent moisture. If the base softens while the soil is wet, the roots are staying too saturated rather than needing more water.
