Each plant is unique. Size, shape, fullness, and variegation will vary.

Echeveria, native to Mexico and Central America, is a rosette-forming succulent known for its thick, fleshy leaves that stack tightly in symmetrical patterns. What makes this plant special is its clean, geometric shape combined with soft color variations—ranging from blue-gray to pink, purple, and even powdery pastel tones depending on the variety and light exposure.

Light drives everything—shape, color, and density. Place it in a south or west-facing window where it receives strong, direct light. Under grow lights, use 5000K–6500K placed 6–10 inches from the top of the plant. In lower light, the rosette will open up, stretch, and lose its tight form. Strong light keeps the plant compact, layered, and often brings out deeper color tones.

Watering should be minimal and controlled. Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings, then water thoroughly and let it dry again, using a fast-draining mix of succulent soil, perlite, and orchid bark. This plant shows thirst through slight wrinkling while staying firm. If the center starts to stretch upward, it’s a light issue. If leaves become soft, translucent, or drop easily from the base, the roots are staying too wet rather than needing more water.
