Each plant is unique. Size, shape, fullness, and variegation will vary.

Epipremnum pinnatum ‘Cebu Blue’, native to Southeast Asia, is a climbing aroid known for its elongated, narrow leaves with a soft blue-green, almost metallic sheen. What makes this plant special is that silvery-blue tone combined with its ability to transform—juvenile leaves are smooth, but as it climbs and matures, they develop deep splits and fenestrations.

Light drives both color and leaf development. Place it in an east or south-facing window where it gets bright, consistent light without direct sun sitting on the leaves. Under grow lights, use 5000K–6500K placed 8–12 inches from the top of the plant. In lower light, the blue tone dulls to green and the plant stays in its juvenile form with no splits. Strong, even light helps maintain that silvery color and encourages mature, fenestrated leaves.

Watering should stay balanced and consistent. Allow the soil to partially dry out between waterings, then water thoroughly and let it drain, using a mix of succulent soil, perlite, and orchid bark. This plant shows its needs through growth—if leaves stay small and solid, it’s reacting to light or lack of support, not water. If the vine stretches or becomes sparse, it needs more light. Yellowing leaves while the soil is wet indicate the roots are staying too saturated, while soft stems point to excess moisture rather than needing water.
