Collection: Jade plants

Jade plants (Crassula ovata), also known as "money plants" or "friendship trees," are popular succulents native to South Africa and Mozambique. Known for their thick, fleshy, oval-shaped leaves and woody stems, jade plants have a tree-like appearance and can grow into small shrubs with proper care. They are particularly valued for their resilience and low-maintenance nature, making them excellent houseplants for both beginners and experienced gardeners. Jade plants prefer bright, indirect light but can tolerate some direct sunlight. They thrive in well-draining, sandy soil and require minimal watering—only when the soil has completely dried out—since they store water in their leaves and can easily suffer from root rot if overwatered. Jade plants also appreciate warmer temperatures and can withstand periods of drought, making them highly adaptable to a variety of indoor environments. Known for their longevity, jade plants can live for many years and, in some cases, even grow into large, tree-like specimens. With their attractive, glossy foliage and easy care requirements, jade plants are not only popular as decorative houseplants but are also believed to bring good fortune and prosperity.
