Collection: Alocasia

Alocasia are bold, architectural plants known for their dramatic leaves and strong vein patterns. If you’re looking for something that instantly stands out, this is where you start. They bring a more elevated, almost sculptural feel compared to your typical houseplant.

They need higher light to stay strong. Place them close to a south or west-facing window, or under a grow light around 6,000–6,500K with good intensity. The more consistent the light, the more stable the growth and leaf size.

Watering is where most people struggle. These are not set-it-and-forget-it plants. Use a chopstick or meter and water when the root zone begins to dry, not just the top. They also respond quickly to changes, so they’ll tell you if something is off. Once you understand them, they become one of the most rewarding plants to grow.
